What we do
Unless projects are specific research projects, they often use a combination of these skills, or one project using one set of skills may lead to another project using further skills.
Brand definition / Proposition development and articulation
Some organisations have their own brand architectures which we work with. Others ask us to create something relevant to their situation. This work almost always involves concept development and qualitative research.
Brand analysis and knowledge auditing
Looking at whether clients have the correct information to manage their brands effectively: are the correct connections made between data sources, are cost-effective methods used? This work almost always results in a decrease in cost and an increase in quality.
Insight generation / Qualitative research / Workshop facilitation / Co-creation
High level qualitative research skills are a component of most of the work we do.
Panels / Quantitative research / Brand tracking
We have a panel of over 700,000 participants, reflecting the UK population. We conduct quantitative research in the UK and multi-nationally.
Organisational alignment
Ensuring organisations understand and manage their brands effectively.
Modelling and evaluation
Creating frameworks to measure brand performance meaningfully and actionably.
Consumer engagement planning
Identifying how consumers make purchase decisions and aligning appropriate marketing and service actions to the insights we derive.
Training
Unless you trained in one of the global FMCG businesses, it is hard to access good training. We provide training to that standard, for individuals and departments. Marketing is often made far too complicated and businesses can’t see the wood for the trees. We simplify it. Our most popular training module is called ‘Brands are like people’ and some clients say it has transformed the way they think about and manage their brands.
